The first thing that I always do when replacing brake pads is to compare the old pads with the new ones to make 100% sure that they are correct. These pads were very close to the same size as the old ones, only difference being these new ones were 1/8 of an inch larger on the curved side of the pad. Meaning that there is 1/8 inch more contact made with the Rotor which I guess is a good thing. These pads have an excellent paint job on the metal part. Almost looked powder coated. The pad life indicator is made of good quality metal also. Be sure that you save the old brackets and springs or have extra brackets and springs because there are none included with these pads. Installation was easy and everything went together as expected. No squeaking or squealing on the test drive.
Authentically Opinionated –
Overall, I really like these brake pads from ALADICHE. They are very similar in size to the OEM brake pads on my Prius. They installed relatively easily with good tolerances. The powder coating on the areas away from the pads looks nice, and I imagine it will probably prevent some rust in the future. No brackets were included, but I ordered some separately. Quite happy with them!
