I built a stand for my solar batteries and needed something to protect the terminals from dirt and any contact with the stand which is steel. I lined the area of the stand with rubber matting cut to size, and I found these terminal covers rather quickly on Amazon.
These terminal covers fit absolutely perfectly over my 2 AWG cables with compression lug, and then they form a protective covering over the entire terminal and lug connector. They are thick and very pliable making them easy to install and manipulate into place. The red and black coloring is ideal for identifying the positive and negative poles.
I bought two packs as I have four batteries. I highly recommend them for automotive, solar, welding equipment, RV’s and more. I give them 5 stars for quality, fit and function and great value.
