These were easy to install, fit well and are well formed with what appears to be quality materials.
With the vine program I only have 30 days to submit a review. Should I encounter any issues over the next year I will update this review.
The included engine photo shows one wire with the heat shield boot on and the rest as the factory setup. The big benefit over factory is you have heat shielding from the end of the wire through the boot an a couple inches above the boot.

The 8 PCS Spark Plug Wire Boots Protector does its job in protecting spark plug wires from heat, especially with its 2500° heat resistance. These red heat shields are a good fit for LS1/LS2 and SBC/BBC engines, offering decent coverage and durability. They’re easy to install and provide an extra layer of protection against extreme temperatures.
However, while they do work as expected, I was hoping for a more premium feel. The material is fine, but not as sturdy as some higher-end options. They’re effective for basic protection, but if you’re looking for something that will last a bit longer or stand up to extreme conditions, there might be better alternatives. Still, for the price, they do a solid job.

The old blue spark plug heat shields began to fade in color a couple of months after they were installed. The previous heat shields were only rated to 1200 degrees, and these are rated at to 2500 degrees. These were a little better to install as they had a little more room in them than my previous set. Heat has always been a problem in the GTO. Ceramic coated headers have helped a lot, so these shields being rated much higher contributes to a cooler engine compartment. The color is a vivid blue that I hope will last. I’m not sure if having a low heat rating contributed to the earlier shields fading or not. These heat shields are great, and I recommend them.
