This is a fairly straightforward job provided you have the right basic tools, allow about 1-2 hours which includes gathering up the right tools for the job. You can save some time by first Googling the installation instructions for this unit, which list all the tools and tasks required. One glitch in the otherwise excellent instructions has you install the new unit first then try to attach the retaining bushing to the glass. Much easier if the bushing is installed first, then install the drive unit.
