It’s ok. I don’t see it being able to fool a thief for long if it’s not an exact fit for your DIN.

2nd time purchasing this, since now a days I am still worried about someone breaking into the car and taking the aftermarket radio.
Even though most cars come with touchscreens and at least I don’t hear about people stealing radios as often. I am still cautious about at least putting some kind of deterrent in place.
Will be using this on a 2013 Honda Civic but due to the depth and size of the bezel. I will need to buy an extension for the suction cup screw and then it will be able to fit.
If the style of face plate was updated to something more current for a cheap CD player radio, this would be more effective. Having that big old knob in the center is strange but if someone were just looking into random cars quickly, should be good enough to hide the aftermarket radio.

I have a Pioneer Avic 8200NEX and it needed to be trimmed to fit. I cut out the out ring with a dremel to make it fit correctly. I am glad I bought it because it covers my stereo nice now. Only 4 stars because I had to trim it to fit, but looks very nice now. A little more peace of mind on the trailheads now.

This will only fit double din units with a gap between the screen bezel frame and the dash housing. If your stereo unit and screen are recessed and/or there is no gap for this faux faceplate to slide into, the suction cup will not get close enough to stick onto your screen. I had to grind down the entire back of this cover so that it was completely flat. Then I installed a thin layer of black double stick tape on just the bottom so that when place against the screen front, it would rest in the recessed bottom channel of the dash housing without falling off. I also removed the suction cup and had to super glue the fake center turn knob so it would stay on. Still worth it since there is absolutely nothing else out there to protect a higher end unit for CarPlay. I would suggest a better description by seller(s) explaining that it will only work with flush units with a gap around the screen for the cover to fit into and perhaps offer a flush and recessed version of this item.

Love it , had to do some trimming but it came out good, if someone wants to sneak from the window, the only thing they’ll see it’s an old stock radio , by the way , it’s a 98 Nissan pathfinder
