I’ve used similar products to these many times. This particular batch is not really top quality or anything amazing but they are very affordable. These are the easiest way to add a lamp to a housing. Just drill a hole and shove them in. The wires are 22 gauge tinned copper and the internal connections are a very thin and soft brass. I’m honestly not sure how long the stinky rubber they are made of will survive in the harsh headlight housing environment but there is a good chance they will be just fine.

Nice T10 socket if you want an independently wired unit. The 40-60 year old GE 194 worked in it without problems. One thing is the contacts in the socket are soldered to the lead, which is good, but the socket connections are not very secure in the rubber socket. Luckily you can pull the line back and they drop back in. The rubber socket fits well into our 1968 Impala cluster, even though there are 4 lock tabs vs 2 on the cluster. It helps it be more stable. We are using an Edelbrock Pro-Flo 4 with out Impala rebuilt and I may connect the EFI ECU to a digital dash solution where I could use the EFI to trigger warning lights vs the old system. So it will look stock but be upgraded.
