These silicone battery terminals are easy to install and work well for insulating terminals on batteries and inverters that use bolts to attach the leads to the posts. They have just the right amount of “give” or stretch to allow them to be put on the bolts and lugs, without being so loose or soft that they can be displaced easily. Really nice terminal covers, especially considering the reasonable price.

I bought these to protect the terminal on the back of my alternator. While they do work the material is so thin that a minor impact could cause a short.

These have been great on my application they have offered some short circuit protection and peace of mind. They had a tremendous amount of stretch and seal up tight around the cable.
