I got these expansion plugs to do repair and maintenance on my various vehicles, including automotive and motorcycles. The expansion plugs work as intended. They work the same as other expansion plugs I’ve used. Just tighten the nut to compress the rubber and seal off the opening. Loosen the nut to remove. These plugs come in a set of various sizes, so make sure the use the correct size for your application. These plugs should be for temporary use only, such as for emergency repairs or maintenance. I am satisfied with this product.

I actually use these rubber plugs for expanding hose that is difficult to put on a barbed connector. They work great for that purpose. I first heat the hose end with a heat gun then insert the largest plug that will fit the hose and tighten it down as tight as I possible can. Then let the hose cool with the plug installed and when you remove the plug it is stretched very slightly.
To help you decide if this set is correct for you I’ve measured the diameter of the rubber plug that gets inserted into the hole because they just include the diameter of the backing plate (possible expansion size).
