Not worth it IMO. No noticeable improvement in air quality. In fact, it’s too constricted and actually slows some air down. I’ll just stick to those foggers for odors and factory plain filters. There was no need for this.

installed filter now that unpleasant moldy odor from air conditioner a constant….wasn’t with old filter.

Installed this in a 2015 jeep cherokee. It does fit but because it has a rigid frame it takes a little bit to get it wiggled in. Still a pretty simple install. The oem filter is bendable and squishable so it’s a little easier to put in. Make note of the pull tab on this filter so that it sticks out which will make it a little easier to remove when you want to change it. I like that they include a trim removal tool that is nice enough to be worth keeping for a future job. The filter is working fine and I am not getting any strange smells from it.

Instructions indicated it goes above glove box . Not so with the 2016 model – that is the air bag location. It is actually in the console, left of the glove box. This filter is rigid so need to clear a path so it slides in without bending. Need to drop a panel above foot well to get it in.
Air flow is front to back and there is a small cloth loop that should be showing at bottom when positioned correctly. I guess the black carbon section should be towards the car front, and paper pleated side toward front.
