The 6-Pack 21911C 05269988AA Relays are 12VDC 10A 5-pin relays designed for use in certain Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge vehicles. These relays play a crucial role in controlling various electrical components in your vehicle, such as lights, motors, and other electrical systems. Here’s a detailed review of this product:
Pros:
High-Quality Construction: These relays are built to handle 12VDC systems with a 10A current rating, which is standard for many automotive electrical systems. The 5-pin design ensures compatibility with a wide range of vehicle applications. They are made to last, offering durability and reliability for your vehicle’s electrical system.
Cost-Effective 6-Pack: The set comes with 6 relays, which is great for both maintenance and repair work. If you need to replace multiple relays in your vehicle or work on several different vehicles, this pack offers good value. Purchasing in a multi-pack ensures you have extras on hand for future repairs.
Versatile Compatibility: These relays are designed to be compatible with various Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge models. If you’re working on one of these vehicles, these relays are a straightforward, drop-in replacement for the original parts. It’s important to verify compatibility with your specific model, but they’re suitable for many common applications in these vehicle brands.
Easy to Install: Relays are generally easy to install or replace. These 5-pin relays feature a standard design, so they fit well into most relay sockets, making them a good choice for DIY car owners or professional mechanics who need a quick and reliable fix for their electrical systems.
Reliable Performance: Automotive relays control the electrical flow to components like lights, horns, and fans. These relays are designed to handle the required load and provide reliable performance, reducing the risk of electrical issues in your vehicle. The 10A rating ensures they can handle a decent load, making them suitable for many applications in your vehicle.
Cons:
Compatibility Limitations: While these relays are compatible with certain Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge vehicles, they may not work with all models within these brands. It’s essential to confirm the part number (05269988AA) and check whether these relays fit your specific vehicle. Using the wrong relay could lead to malfunctioning electrical components.
Not for High-Current Applications: These relays are rated for 10A, which is suitable for many standard automotive applications. However, if you need relays for high-current systems or specialized equipment (such as powerful winches or heavy-duty electrical systems), you may need relays rated for higher amperage.
Potential for Overheating: While these relays are designed for typical automotive use, any relay that operates under high stress or heavy loads for extended periods could potentially overheat. If you’re using these relays in applications that require frequent cycling or high power demands, it’s important to monitor their performance.
Overall:
The 6-Pack 21911C 05269988AA Relays provide a cost-effective, reliable solution for replacing relays in Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge vehicles. With a 12VDC 10A rating and 5-pin design, they are suitable for many standard automotive electrical applications, such as lights, motors, and horns. The 6-pack provides excellent value, especially if you need multiple replacements or want to keep extras on hand. The easy installation and reliable performance make them a solid choice for anyone needing to replace worn-out relays. Just be sure to verify compatibility with your vehicle and ensure that they are appropriate for the specific electrical load you are working with. Overall, a good option for everyday automotive maintenance.

What’s more aggravating than hitting the horn for that guy who REALLY needs a horn honked and NOTHING. Really? Nothing? New relay. Horn honks. What more do I need? First autoparts store didn’t have one. Next one wanted twice as much for ONE than Amazon wants for this six pack. In my car, this one relay is the same for 5 different things including wipers, horn, AC and antilock brakes. Relays are fidgety. They aren’t necessarily like fuses that are either good or bad. They can be intermittent. For $15, worth having at least one around (as well with fuses). Your car likely has empty places to store spares and it’s a simple pull out and plug in on the roadside to get your horn, AC, wipers back in service. Thank me when you really need it. (Tip, if they are the same they are interchangeable. Sacrifice the horn to get your AC). This plugged right in. Tried one. Going to have to assume the others work. OEM lasted 13 yrs. If I get half of that, I’ll be happy and if not, I can replace it 6 times cheaper than OEM.

Perfect fit. Solved my problem. Highly recommend. Dodge challenges seem to have poor quality factory relays. I’ve had this same relay fix ac not working, horn not working and wipers not stopping in the correct spot.
