It broke after the first use. I re-soldered the connectors rather then risk exchanging item

Don’t waste your time with jumper cables ever again. If you have access to an M18 battery then you should own this. I have used it on all different types ou equipment and vehicles, I was a little concerned when I used it to jump start an Escalade because I thought the 18V output might damage the vehicles electronics but everything was fine.
2 things you should keep in mind:
– take off immediately after start up
– don’t crank starter for an extended period because you will melt something.

Pros:
* Seems like solid copper wire
* Fit battery top well, no issues getting on/off the top of OEM batteries.
Cons:
* Fit for non oem batteries wasn’t the best. Got stuck on more that one and was hard to remove.
* Solid conductor was challenging to bend. Little bit worried about how it holds up over time.
Will update after realizing how well it holds up under test with a low battery.

So I have mixed feelings about this one…I use to get wild looks from people as I’ve been doing this for years without the heavy wiring and alligator clips, and it saved me in a pinch more than I can count, so I was excited to see the refined version…and it is well made and heart duty…having had so much experience with using 18v to jump 12 I was a little let down on performance…I thought what’s the difference from how I do it and this…and all I can tell is these are almost too well built…the 4g wiring might be consuming too much amperage but I wasnt getting an easy jump with it and it would make a full charge battery flash out at 1 bar in 30 seconds…lot of variables that would have to share the shortcomings to say it’s entirely on the product and i know the concept works so I’m gonna give it another go when the situation arises…it is really cool to see im not the only one who has thought to do this though

Cheap, cheap wires that cracked in the cold. Lego styled cheap clips. Cable gauge too small to carry any amperage. Junk products

This jump-start adapter is a must-have for anyone with Milwaukee M18 tools. It’s compact, durable, and incredibly handy. The adapter snaps onto the M18 battery perfectly—secure and solid, with no worries about it coming loose while you’re using it.
The cables are great quality, made with real copper for excellent conductivity, and the length is just right for easily reaching the car’s battery. The clamps feel sturdy and have heavy-duty springs, so they grip the terminals firmly without slipping. Everything about it feels thoughtfully designed and built to last.
I’ve already used it to jump-start a car, and it worked flawlessly. It’s impressive how much power this little adapter delivers when paired with an M18 battery.
If you’re already in the Milwaukee ecosystem, this is a no-brainer. It’s reliable, easy to use, and feels like a tool you can depend on. Highly recommend!
UPDATE: After using this product on several vehicles, a flaw became noticeable. The plastic clamps used to hold the cables to the battery are a bit flimsy. There is little to prevent them from coming apart while under pressure. This is especially problematic when putting the clamps on a battery and removing them. I have been able to reattach the clamps to the other piece when they separate but I am not sure how many times I will be able to do this before the clamps are permanently broken. This does make using the unit a bit cumbersome as half the time I am using it the clamps explode in my hand. Luckily it has yet to pinch me but I would not be surprised if I end up getting snagged soon. I will update this review if the unit ever breaks for good.

I was curious if these would work to jump a car/truck and I found that they do, but the first time I used them, the clamp broke apart. Im going to replace the clamps and keep the item, but I would look for a better built item next time.

Started up a car that’s been sitting air the entire winter and the battery was stone dead fail load test it was just to have a battery in the circuit to avoid over voltage as this booster is more of an emergency thing as it dumps the full charge of your battery so there is nothing stopping it from accidentally over draining your drill battery and use the boost points and if not equipped at least use a good body ground to try and avoid harming any sensitive circuits or components otherwise I’m really impressed with how well made it is and how slick it works nice feeling clamps while it has have cables that are plenty long without being unreasonably long it does the thing I’m happy that’s all I could ever ask for time will tell regards to long term reliability but by all appearances I don’t think it’s gonna be given any issues

Everyone should have these, or multiple. Battery life for jumper is good, easy to store, functions flawless
