I hate, hate, hate microfiber anything. Microfiber is not absorbent, is scratchy and uncomfortably sticks, hooks, and catches on the hand skin of men like myself who work for a living, and IMO microfiber is is just junk, so I stay far away from it when purchasing shop towels, cleaning supplies and rags. I opened this and immediately they stuck to my rough hands, the telltale sign of microfiber and sure enough, had all the hallmarks and traits of microfiber. If you want real cotton, look elsewhere.
