This cap is too loose the way it was shipped to me. First photo shows one skinny grommet (provided) and an additional gasket closer to the bottom of the cap (not provided!!), which makes for a loose fit. Heading to the hardware store to see if I can find the correct grommet. Shop for another cap, unless your up for a wild goose chase!

Delivery was on time and in good condition. But cap did not close tank tightly. Returned.

This cap is a good, inexpensive/ half price replacement gas cap for my Briggs & Stratton exi 725 engine. The reason for the low rating is because the O-ring on this replacement is too thin and the cap does not fit snug. I placed another/a second O-ring but that one failed and broke in a couple of weeks because the O-ring needs to be fuel resistant. I believe the O-ring on the original Briggs & Stratton cap had a gray colored O-ring which is probably fuel resistant. I guess you can buy a fuel resistant thicker O-ring but that takes a while to find. Or just buy the higher priced Briggs and Stratton cap that fits well.

This is my third gas cap for my Toro lawnmower. It’s got to be the poorest design of a gas cap that has ever been made. I use the mower to do trim work and my shrubs. The gas cap continuously comes off. Had destroyed 2 of the by running over them. It’s only got a couple of tabs that holds the cap on and it easily gets loose even though it’s attached with a piece of plastic strap it still falls off.

Great product.

This cap was a good, inexpensive replacement for the broken cap on my Briggs & Stratton exi 625 engine. You will, however, need the original O-ring as the ring on this replacement is too thin and doesn’t provide a good seal. If you don’t have the original, you’ll have to get a thicker one from a hardware or auto parts store.
