I have not had a need to use this coil as it is a backup part. However, checking with an ohm meter indicated the coil is functional and within spec. Overall look is a good product, well manufactured.
Stan Hall –
This appears to be well made. This loses one star because it claims compatibility to 591420, but that coil should have a 90 connect for the spark plug and this one didn’t. If it came with a boot I wouldn’t complain as I could use it as it, but my 90 boot didn’t fit. It also didn’t follow the curve of the flywheel very well, but I guess that isn’t important.
It did work and solve my problem on my B&S 500 series motor.
