So on this Coolant Temperature Sensor I Purchased for my 2013 Dodge Challenger R/T there aren’t many Reviews I seen for the Hemi Engine…
I replaced the Original Sensor which was Hard Plastic to this Copper one and at 1st I was like I really hope the Threads match and to my Surprise I just Screwed this in by hand at 1st then I got my 3/4 inch Deep Socket which you can also use a 19mm Deep Socket to Snug it in..Do not over tighten as you will still see Threads which is fine just snug it up real good…
I had a leak in my radiator so I replaced it but after changing it my car begun overheating so I replaced my thermostat as well, car still was overheating which then I realized my Radiator Fan wasn’t turning on so I checked my fuses and relays(which are 3) and 1 was slightly melted so I replaced all 3 since it came in a pack of 4 and my fan still wasn’t turning on so lastly I changed out my Coolant Temperature Sensor and my Fan finally started working and no more overheating…
I did all the proper testing and realized everything was still OEM from 2013 and everything I named needed replacing…
I will give an update on everything if any there are any changes but at the moment I’m giving this sensor 5 stars…

I recently had the OEM temp sensor in my KK Liberty fail by literally pulling out of its PLASTIC threads. Yes, the original IS PLASTIC. This sensor is metal and works perfectly in the system giving off correct readings per laser temp gun verification. Due to the manifold threads not being so healthy because of the original, I was worried it might be an issue to install the metal one and cross-thread, but it went it straight and easily. Car runs better now as the PCM is once again getting correct temperature of the coolant and correctly compensating fuel mixtures to match.
