This damper part is to be attached by an M10 x 1.5 bolt (90mm long) to the differential mount. The part as it came would not accept the OEM bolt because it was partially painted shut AND was slightly offset. I fixed the problem by tapping it carefully. Many DIY customers would have returned this part, but I needed to use it. Once installed it worked as needed.
