Was sold a broken part

Truck was out of commission for MONTHS after installing this faulty part. Tried everything and nothing seemed to work, turns out part was blown. Cost me over $400 to get it replaced with a part that actually worked. And now the returned window has passed so I’m out $80 for this part and $400 from the shop.

Looks a little cheaper than factory, BUT doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. You will need to replace gear oil once this is removed due to some will leak out a little once it’s removed. So far it’s work with no issues but hard to tell the longevity since 4×4 doesn’t get moved much

Item as described and works as designed. Part is an actuator that shifts the transmission between the 4WD modes. Part is necessary to make the repair when 4WD SERV light pops on and cannot be repaired by disconnecting battery to reset.
