I read a lot of bad reviews on here about this product, but I think many people that purchased this hoseline didn’t realize that this is DOT rated hard-plastic air & fuel line for semi-trucks/big rigs! It is used for the air brake lines and also the diesel fuel lines on tractor trailer trucks. Each end of the line needs to have brass ferals set into compression fittings. You need to use rubber hose & hose clamps if your application does not have compression fittings! It worked fine for my Freightliner truck to replace the fuel lines.

Incorrectly sized just like the other reviews state. Was using 5/16 hose barbs which are SMALLER than 3/8 and you can’t even get this over them even after heating the hose to stretch. It is slightly more durable than the dorman brand but in the end, it will kink easily if too much heat is applied.

Saves money over the Dorman equivalent. However if the Dorman nylon line is considered a 5 than this should be considered 3 at most.
I used my remaining dorman line and this. This line kinks easier and does not accept the connectors as easily. 1 day installed and so far so good.
With all that being said I feel the price reflects is flaws in comparison. I however will go back to the dorman brand for my next roll.

1/2” OUTSIDE diameter, not inside as the picture portrays. Not entirely sure why they would make the outside diameter half an inch and not the inside, but oh well. It does fit a smaller diameter pipe that I needed anyways, but it will not fit on a 1/2” pipe. Does not stretch or bend enough.

This fuel line is measured by outside diameter and works with the push-connect type fittings with barbed ends, or even with compression type fittings similar to what is used with copper tubing except the ones for nylon tubing need to be used with an insert, or the compression fitting itself needs to have the insert built in to the fitting. I use Silicone grease from a tube to lubricate the push-connect barbed ends, you can use a heat gun also, but the silicone lube is all I have needed. To hold the nylon fuel line, I sometimes use the appropriate sized dies from my flaring kit clamped in a vise or in the jaws of a large vise-grip pliers. Keep this Nylon fuel line away from excessive heat and keep it from rubbing/chaffing on sharp objects and it will last for 15 or more years.
