This Quick Charger works on Android smartphones very well, but the body and especially the contacts get very warm. Ok to us if there is good air circulation to cool this adapter.

My car has a power outlet in the armrest center console. I plug in this charger and run the attached wire to the outside of the armrest. It sits out of sight and always ready to charge my phone. Many times I’ve jumped in the car with only 30% charge on my phone, and after a quick 15 minute drive it juices my phone all the way to roughly 65%! That’s extremely fast. It has saved me from having a dead phone outside of the house many times. I really like the attached charge cable, you can’t lose or misplace it and it’s always plugged into the charger. Works better than advertised, in my opinion, and if you want a good car charger for a great price, this is it.

The charger works quite nicely. Cord seems solid, and the ability to plug in an additional USB cable is very helpful for charging additional devices and/or addressing potential compatibility. Device charges fast and works well. The only real issue is the LED lighting—it’s extremely bright blue, which makes it very distracting when driving at night if something isn’t blocking the illumination. I live in the mountains and often drive on very dark roads so this is actually such a big issue that I have to knock the rating down from 5-star rating to only 3 stars. I understand a light to let you know it’s working, but it shouldn’t blind you to drive at night.
