Great pressure!

…for a 2002 VW Jetta hood. I saw many listings for $20-$25 for one, then saw this two-pack for $18 and took a chance. Installed easy and is the right size and strength, with a spare for another car or another day. Can’t speak to longevity yet as I just installed it, but for now, no more stick under the hood.

Worked as should

Finally, the hood doesn’t fall down on my head when I’m working on my vw cabrio (which is frequently, because it’s a vw).
I can finally take that giant broomstick out of the trunk, the one I used to prop open the hood until this part fixed the problem.
Installation was a simple press fit. The new one just snapped right on and it only took a few seconds.
