Triggering wires (yellow and white) are labelled and look like 0.75mm2 cross sectional area (between 18&19AWG) which is fine. Load wires (red, black, blue) are labelled and look like 1.5mm2 cross sectional area (between 15&16AWG). This is maybe 25A safe transmission. 30-40A advertised is a fire hazard. Need 12AWG for 40A. This should be advertised as maybe a 20A relay. It is roughly half the price of a 40A relay…which seems fair.

How many times have you been doing a wiring project only to realize that you needed a relay or five to get your switch system working because the current flow was just too large to run through a switch inside your vehicle? Just me? These are perfect for lighting systems or turning on multiple amplifiers from a single source. Keep a handful of these in your parts bin for just such an occasion. These are great for most every scenario and can be used as single or double throw relays. Excellent product.
