Good solid hardware. As per other reviews it IS possible to wind up connecting with reversed polarity if not done right. This is only possible when connecting alligator clips to lighter PLUG, which is not usually done. Clips to lighter socket us fine, lighter plug to lighter socket as an extension is fine. The config of the plugs makes the reversal of polarity mandatory if you don’t pay attention! The red and black wires, if observed, alert you to this misconnection. There is no way to make these items without the possibility of a mistake. You just have to be smarter than the wires. The erroneous connection is one unlikely to be useful, anyway….

Yes, it works perfect and constructed to last.
Remember this, it has a strong fuse, but if ever it ground out. You will need a 250 amp fuse.

This is exactly what I needed for my project to have a relay device switch from external battery to car battery with the 12 volt car male female connectors as well as ability to interchange with the inline connectors.

bought this set for its multiple uses with my 50cc scooter. cigarette lighter socket plugs into my battery charger cable and the male lighter plug to the charger itself allows for a nice and tidy way to charge the battery at night and gives me the ability to charge my phone/whatever on the bike while im out. the battery clips allow me to jump another battery from the scooter, just either swap cables or buy a 1 to 2 (or my case 4) sae adapter. allows me to run 12 volt and under items when i’m not near an outlet. may not be what it was all meant for, but certainly is useful for what i needed. the cables are thick, the connectors are solid, not a single complaint and well beyond worth the money for what all you get.
