This is now the second memory saver where there is no power when plugged in. The red light never illuminates, whether you plug it into a 12 volt socket OR the OBD II port. I am going to go buy one at the auto parts store. There are defective fuses or something with these things. Very disappointing.

This is one of those tools that you only need rarely, but is well worth having even if you only need it once. Worked great, and will come in handy every few years when a battery needs to be replaced.
