Easy install works as it should. Use a better hose than the one that came in the kit.

Installed on my Suburban, it works great. Since the 5.3 liter LC9 does not really have a PCV valve this helps with the oil being drawn into the intake when the engine is under vacuum. If your 5.3 liter does not smoke but you notice that your oil level is always low you need one of these.

This is a very nicely made catch can but the hose will not stand up to 15-20 inches of vacuum. Is it a worthy purchase? Yes but you will need to find better 3/8″ hose. Oh and the instructions – aren’t! You need to know some basics or look at other versions as there are several here that are virtually identical.
