My 2008 fxstc, kept stahling/dieing, when down shifting into first gear, coming to a stop. I cleaned the butterfly, cleaned the IAC, changed plugs, ran seafoam in tank, changed TPS, all of which did not prevent my bike from dieing at idle AFTER bike was at operating temperature. My bike rode fine, and idled fine, until it was warm/hot, then it would die. I could pop it in neutral, fire it back up and go, everytime, but it would still want to Stahl when coming to a stop. No check engine lights, no codes, just random dieing. Swapped this heat sensor, and I’m 100% fixed. No more stalling or dieing, no more sitting at red lights, giving it throttle to keep it running…. back to normal as it should be.

Quality replacement part. Fixed the issue I was having. 2008 Streetglide 96 twin cam. Bike was going into single cylinder mode way to often on warmer days, including twice while actually driving. Its only suppose to stay in single cyl mode at idle. New sensor fixed the issues and bike runs much better over all. The temp sensor is a major input to the ECM for fuel control on the Harleys. Very pleased with new sensor, Identical to the one removed.
