I have used this product for several years and I find it works better than other brands I’ve used. It’s great for tires, black trim, vinyl and others. It seems to last longer than other brands and leaves a nice luster after applying.

This is the second bottle I bought. I actually bought it as a protector for my convertible top, works really well, but after some got on the dash, I wiped it and that looked amazing. so now I use it on all my vehicles! It really seems to make the dash and trim look new. I give it a solid 10/10.

My favorite interior detail spray. Has always worked well and to my satisfaction. It keeps dust away and protects panels from UV light. One bottle lasts me a long time. I use it on my vehicles twice a year:

If you don’t know about Formula 303 SEALANT/Shine you should. Conditions plastic & rubber much better than any other available product. With use when new, inside & out & regular every 3 months re-apolication, 3x the miles on your tires is normal. I’ve seen 156k miles tires treated with 303 & they look but& have the look, grip & tread as newly mounted tires but look far better due to 303 conditioning. This is NOT like typical but”rubber or plastic shine” type auto products. It SEALS & treats the raw open rubber on belts, hoses & tires making them far stronger & harder lessening the wear immensely. I use it on anything plastic or rubber on my vehicles & reapply every 3 months. Unlike other products (Armor all etc.) It does NOT stain glass or plastic & won’t make sun baked surfaces crack (dashboards etc.) if only used 1x. I reapply it inside & outside my vehicles to deepen the color of rubber & plastic. May be used on dyed or painted plastic bumpers or boat painted fiberglass without damaging the paint or dye. Great for hard to reach seals & any rubber that sees wear on vehicles. I soak my belts & hoses & tie rod or ball joints for instance overnight or for 20 minutes pre i installation & it reduces wear. Great in CV boots as well & prevents tearing due to age without adding a shiny, greasy feeling to the item. Used it 1x on a dashboard now with 170k+ miles on it. No cracks now & looks better than new. Hasn’t stained any fabric, paint or metal unlike other rubber treatment products. Save serious $ & use on your tires & get 109k+ miles from them even if you use this on only the outside (let it soak in overnight on 1st application imho & for 6-8 hours every 3-4 months after just by spraying them down with 303. Also works great as a leather restirer & sealant). The Gallon is a “must have” for me & easily the cheapest buy. 303 is definitely much better than any other treatment & truly aerospace & aviation designed to protect $100k aviation cockpit dashboards from the sun. Nothing else comes close. I’ve been using it for over 25 years without a single disappoinment & find new uses all the time as it is a sealant/protectant + it + standard household spray paint may be used to recondition worn dyed color leather seats easily & cheaply with no paint ever coming off on your clothes after using 303 sealant. It’s simply the best leather, rubber, fiberglass & plastic conditioner & sealant made.

This Aerospace Protectant is a great item! I used it on my vinyl in the boat, and it worked perfectly—helping to protect and restore the material while keeping it looking clean.
It’s easy to apply, doesn’t leave a greasy residue, and provides great UV protection. Highly recommend for anyone looking to maintain their vinyl and other surfaces!

It works, does a great job, and has the UV 40 rating. The 303 isn’t as slippery feeling as the Mequiar’s, smells better and comes in several different sizes. The 32oz is a better buy then the 16oz, and the gallon is a really great buy. Just be sure to save your orginal spray bottle. I bought the 303 to use on my Soloflex Weight Straps as it is recommend by Soloflex, to stop the oxidation process. Mequiar’s is recommend also. The weight straps are a dense rubber composite and the 303 is working great. There are no warnings on the 303 stating various items not to use it on, as are listed on the Mequiar’s. So I have used it on the Soloflex bench and the Rockit bench and footrest, no issues. It may do a wonderful job on dashboards, but I haven’t tried it.
Soloflex only suggests using 303 Aerospace Protectant or Meguiar’s M40 Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner as preventive maintenance. They however don’t tell you how to do it. There isn’t anything enclosed with my new replacement weight straps regarding maintenance or treatment of the rubber. Makes me wonder how they control aging of their stock.
Since the straps are made of a dense-hard rubber compound, they aren’t porous. To my way of thinking, just spraying the protectant on and wiping it off, doesn’t give you the best bang for your buck. So I have been soaking them for several days in the protectant, in a Lock-n-Lock container. These containers are air tight, keeping the protectant from becoming thick and jelly like. I turn the straps once a day. This is another reason I like the 303 in the gallon size. If your straps are very old the protectant will turn black as the oxidation is washed off. Then I wrap them individually in cloth and store them in another Lock-N-Lock container. Could also spray a light coat of protectant on each strap before wrapping. For very long term storage I’m thinking of vacuum sealing the straps in my Food Saver vacuum bags. No air, no oxidation. And since the pours would be forced open do to minus atmosphere, more protectant should be forced in.
Since my Soloflex and Rockit are old and hadn’t been used in years, and I wasn’t aware the straps needed treatment, four of them broke first use after coming out storage. All (10, 5, 2.5#) broke in about the same place, a short distance from the plastic ring, going toward the center of the strap. There is a suspicious looking round spot in the center of each break, looks more like a molding imperfection then an aging issue.
All of the new replacement straps look, feel and smell different then the broken straps and those that haven’t broken, but are now treated. Soloflex told me the compound was the same, go figure. I’m treating all my straps, new and old. I want to pass the Soloflex equipment onto my grandkids, with usable straps.
The reason I started using the Soloflex again, should of never stopped, my surgeon wanted me doing leg extensions to aid the rehabilitation process of my year old TKA. I had been using the Rockit without straps, but have since started adding straps. Has made a world of difference, especially with the breaking up of the scar tissue. Only time will tell…
May your rubber always be protected…
