It works as a way for me to store and use my auto detailing stuff in a way that’s mobile and allows me to roll it around nearby whatever vehicle I might be working on. As for my issues, the frame pieces are about the only thing that has any feeling of being a sturdy material followed by the plates that are mounted to the sides. As for the three shelves.. they are plastic and while they don’t necessarily feel weak, I can say that at least one shelf I received had some damage where the plastic broke. Lastly the red dividers that include two per shelf/ section aren’t very strong feeling either, but the main issue is that the way they are mounted into their designated spots is an issue where they constantly need to be replaced into the slots that hold them without actually securing them. Basically there’s two little slots on each side that they slide in to, but the slots area bit larger that the edges of the pieces I’m talking about which allows them to wiggle around and move enough to frequently fall out of place. It doesn’t help that the area of the shelf with damage is to one of the slots which makes it even worse. Additionally.. the instructions I recd might have set a record for the worst instructions I’ve ever seen. What I got was a crumpled up piece of post card sized paper.. maybe a tad bigger.. that was ripped in to 2 pieces with smaller tears causing some pieces to just kinda hang in place. Regardless I was able to put the two pieces together and still see a bit of what it was saying, however there was no instruction as to how exactly the cart should be assembled. That wouldn’t be that big of deal as youd think putting something like this together would be pretty straight forward, except the inclusion of screws and various pieces of plastic trim equal in size to actual working parts like the magnetic bars makes it difficult to know whether it matters where you put them or if incorrect placement r might affect function. Since the included instructions were so limited to basically just using a numbering system to tell you what each part is called and how many of each should be included, I decided to check back with the listing to see if there was any other instructional info and there was. There is a brief video of the cart being put together that you can watch. Watching the video allowed me to replicate what I saw in it to get it together, but some of parts or the way things are assembled don’t really make sense to me. I think the biggest issue is that the price maybe seems kinda high for what it does okay.. Basically allows you to hold your equipment in a unorganized way since the dividers don’t stay in place and then you can either just figure out a way to make the metal plates and peg mounted parts work for your unique tools or products or you can try to reference the images included with the listing and try to copy ways they did certain things. This tool cart is currently $129.99 and I’ve come across several that list prices under $100 that are basically the same size with some being larger and seemingly better built in terms of materials and quality that offers a sturdier product. As far as I can tell the $30-40 dollar price difference I’m seeing between this cart and others, is the exclusion of the interior detailing brushes and the spray bottles that come with this version and not some of the lower priced versions. While the three detailing brushes are appreciated and I will use them, I don’t think that their inclusion along with the spray bottles accounts for the additional cost since a set of brushes can be found for prices that do range but include deals for three or four for less than $10 dollars. The same is true for the spray bottles. All in all, this cart isn’t bad, but it’s definitely not the best deal you can get either. I wouldn’t tell others to NOT order it if there’s something about it that appeals to them, but if you’re looking for better prices that don’t sacrifice the general concept of the cart which is that it has three shelves/trays and it has wheels allowing you to roll it around with you, it includes the peg style metal plates that are side mounted, and the overall size/dimensions are what you are looking for.. you can absolutely 100% find that better deal.
