I ordered these to fix a wire that we accidentally cut in the yard. This is perfect because it comes with two different wire diameter rubber sealing glands so we can match it to the wire size. These have small screws to retain the wire in the connector terminal which is much better then those that have to push the wires in the terminal pins. These will tighten down on stranded wire where those push in terminals do not let you use stranded wire it just bundles up when trying to push the wire in the terminal pin. These are very nice and work well they should remain water free if you match the rubber gland to your wire size and tighten down the outer plastic cap. This set also comes with a screwdriver to use on those small screws. I love these and would order them again and I would recommend these to others.

These are pretty decent butt connectors, and they are pretty easy to use. I was somewhat mislead by the description using the term ‘quick disconnect’ as I do not consider these quick disconnect at all. To disconnect, the entire installation process is reversed, which means opening up the threaded housing and removing set screws from each wire. They are pretty good, though for the price and the fact they are not quick disconnect in my opinion, I would likely just use normal butt connectors.

These appeared on my Amazon feed just as I was building a new project box. The device is a Meshtastic Station G2 mesh network device that is on an antenna mast in my back yard. I built the Station G2 into a waterproof project box I found on Amazon and needed a way to power the device inside the project box and keep it watertight. These connectors are perfect and exactly what I needed for my project. As can be seen in the photo, the power comes in the bottom of the box. The connectors have screw terminals that are securely isolated from each other to prevent shorts. Then, a watertight cap screws over the connection securely sealing the wire leading to the box. I really like that the connectors come with extra seals in case I repurpose them in the future. Additionally, the connector has a seal where it passes through the box to keep things really dry. These are excellent connectors that are easy to install, easy to wire, and should last (and be waterproof) for years to come. Oh yeah, they come with a screwdriver/voltage tester which is a real bonus.

I used one of these today to attach a new light control module to the power source in my hot tub. Pretty simple black to black (L) and then in my case red to white. The connectors are easy to slide over the wires and I like the positive connection screw in each side of the connector to secure the wire to the correct lug. Very easy to do but you do need to find the correct identifier on each side.

I recently discovered these, and got them to use in replacing the trailer lights on one of my jet skis. I usually use heat shrink tubing, but this is a better concept. After wiring each end of the connection, you simply twist the knurled knobs, which causes the green rubber ring to act like an aperature, closing itself around the wire. The more you turn the knobs, the smaller and tighter the aperature. Unlike using heat shrink tubing. You can reverse the entire process. Lights go bad in the future? No problem, just undo the connection.
