This 3pack of “Car Drying Towels” from SOFLYS does the job. There are 3 towels included. Very Large ( 36×24) Medium ( 24×16) and Small (12×12)
I’m not a ” car connoisseur” but I have an older compact car that I clean by hand ( car wash places charge too much for me!!). I’ve always used old rags and paper towel so I thought I’d try these out. The item description stated they were Super Absorbant ( made from Microfiber material which holds much much more then what I was previously using) and Streak and Scratch free. The information also stated they could be used on the inside interior as well ( wipe dust and inside parts). I decided to wait for a rainy day to try and the day after I received, I was able to try them out ( it had rained over nite!!)
I park my car in a specific parking space so I was able to take the towels to my car and test them out ( to see if each towel met the item specifics🤗. I followed the specs for each towel and was amazed at how quickly the water was sucked up– especially using the large towel for majority of outside car. My car has a sunroof which is always a challenge to clean. Once I got situated and ready ( thinking would take awhile to get it clean and no water drops left) I reached over with Medium towel and started to swipe over. To my amazement it only took 2 swipes and done.. including the window part. It wasn’t just clean without water spots…. it shined!!!
I really got into it and tried the small towel to dry the tire hubcaps which I don’t usually even try to clean. It was so easy.. I went around each spoke with a quick wipe and water disappeared. The hubs looked like new
I could have stopped then being already satisfied, but decided I might as well do some inside cleaning. There is a 4speed stick in between the seats. It had a lot of dirt and dust from constant use. I thought it would be a good item for a test. I used the small towel and wiped around the bottom area where most dirt. It took a little time ( can’t remember when I last cleaned) but as stated, it was cleaned and even a bit shiny ( made of a leather-like material). Once that was done, I sat in driver seat and thought about all that the 3 towels had done. I got out and walked around my car. Though an older car….. it looked like I had taken it to a car wash and chose the most expensive wash service. Overall I may have taken about 1 1/2 hrs but it was worth it. These towels do the job. They ate up water and no scratches. They were still soft afterwards and could have absorbed more. I also think I’ll be able to use them to clean mirrors and windows in my house. I’m very satisfied with these towels. I would give more stars rating if possible. I highly recommend these!!

You can actually dry your entire vehicle with the large towel in this set. And you will no doubt find uses for the other 2 towels in the set. I drive a Tacoma pickup and am glad to break free from using a chamois and having to stop and wring it out more than 10 times during the drying process. Using this towel shaved at least 15 minutes off the car wash routine. The only down side is that there is no way to wring out the water by hand and it needs to hang somewhere for a few days to release all the water it had absorbed.

My boyfriend told me he needed some more microfiber towels so that he can wash and polish his antique vehicles. The ones he’s bought at a Big Box store are very flimsy and practically throwaway rags once used. I ordered this 3-pack of SOFYS Premium Microfiber Car Drying Towels for several reasons.
I like there are 3 sizes: a small 12” X 12” one for detailing and to easily wipe windshields, mirrors, interiors, etc., a medium size 16” X 24” for “tricky areas,” and a gigantic size 24” X 36” that can be used to dry practically a whole vehicle. They are very thick like two towels sewn together but stitched down the middle and along the edgeless sides so that there’s no bulkiness when using each towel.
These SOFYS towels are super-soft with fluffy-long fibers, which make them so impressively thick and heavy because they have a density of 1200 GSM, according to the product page. I researched online that 350 GSM (grams per square meter) is good for household cleaning and picking up debris. 1200 GSM is ultra impressive, making these towels super-absorbent and why the largest towel can dry a whole vehicle. The fabric composition on each tag lists 80% Polyester, 20% Polyamide. Good microfiber towels should contain 15 – 20% polyamide. The more polyamide, the more durable they are.
Unfortunately, there are no specific instructions for machine washing in the product information. I already knew that microfiber towels should be washed ahead of time. When I did a colorfast test in my bathroom sink, the water did turn dingy, and I could see some dust particles floating around. I washed them in cold water with an extra rinse. I removed my dryer balls and cleaned the lint trap before I tumble-dried the towels on a medium temperature. Afterwards, the towels were soft and clean and left behind hardly any lint. Before I gave them to my boyfriend, as a precaution, I removed the fabric tags so there was no chance of them causing any scratches in his antique’s paint.
My boyfriend was very pleased when he washed and dried his antique. He did say the towels absorbed a lot of water and became somewhat heavy. However, we still highly recommend this SOFYS brand.

The towel is thick and soft, making it easy to quickly dry the car after washing. It’s thick enough that you can wipe with one side and then flip it over to keep cleaning. The material is very gentle, so even when rubbing firmly, it doesn’t leave any scratches on the car. It also comes in a variety of sizes, which is really convenient — the smaller one is perfect for wiping detailed areas like side mirrors or small decorative parts of the car. Overall, very satisfied with the quality and performance!
