I used these polishing sponges on a guitar body on the clear coat after leveling. The process was a bit slow but after 5 (Wax on Wax Off) sessions with each grit the body turned out beautiful. Worked great!! The durability of the sponges really surprised me, I really expected the sponge to have been mangled after all that polishing but when I cleaned the sponges with Dawn and water the sponges looked as if I had never used them.

I purchased these to use as cleaning sponges on my small, electric kitchen spin dishwashing brush. I used the yellow one last night and thot it was AWESOME! I didn’t even realize how bad the one my brush came with was until I used this one. I haven’t tried the others but they all seem to be very durable to me.
I read the poor reviews about people using these to remove scratches, etc. I’m not sure why people would even begin to think these woukd work for something like that to begin with. I mean, at the end of the day, they’re all foam sponges. I mean, I guess the white one does feel a little harsh but overall, it just doesn’t seem like foam is a good cutting tool for something like that so I feel like those reviews are unfair. If, however, you’re using them for cleaning then, so far, I HIGHLY recommend them as I used what seemed to be the weakest one and it seemed awesome.

For the price these are hard to beat. Keep in mind these aren’t designed for the industrial ‘job site’. However, they work great for the DIY’er working in the garage occasionally. Handy to have around. I’d buy them again.
