I have an older model pickup and needed to add a wiring harness for a trailer. The only problem is that the turn and parking lights were on separate circuits. Due the nature of the wiring on ALL trailers you can’t connect the turn and parking light together, if you do, you lose the ability to use your turn indicators.
The solution is to add these relay switches. They provide a way to combine the turn and parking light without causing a problem. I hooked these up to my truck and my problem was solved.
