These are great alternative replacements for the OEM electric struts for the 2014, Toyota, Rav4, LimitedI. I have to agree with others that have purchased these, They lift the tailgate to a height that’s about 2″ too short, as they do not open to the previous clearance that the OEM units provided. If you 6′ or taller, you may want to purchase struts, with the same weight lifting capabilities that are about 1/2″ longer.
