Quise comprarlos en la tienda local Autozone, pero en primer lugar tenía que ordenarlos sobre pedido y en segundo costaban $875 cada uno, en ML también muy caros y los venden por unidad no por par….
Cuando vi estos en Amazon me decidí a comprarlos aunque estaba consciente de que tal vez por el precio (muy baratos) no obtendría buena calidad, o incluso que no le quedarían a mi coche (sonata 2013 2.4l GDI) en cuanto los recibí y quité uno de los originales me di cuenta que los reemplazos eran aproximadamente 1 cm más grandes que los originales (como lo menciona otro comprador en su reseña) pero aún así los instalé y brinqué de gusto pues le quedaron perfecto aún siendo un poco más grandes que los originales
La instalación es súper sencilla y rápida, con un desarmador tienes que retirar un poco la abrazadora de seguridad que tienen en cada uno de los extremos (mostrada en la fotografía) para quitar los originales y también en los nuevos, una vez hecho eso solo los retiras sin esfuerzos, y colocas los nuevos, ya colocados presionas la abrazadera de seguridad hasta su tope y listo!!!

I changed my hood supports for the first time in life and I can say it was pretty easy. Just watch a YouTube video if you aren’t sure.
These are good quality, and have almost enough strength to support the hood just by using one of them if your other support is getting old and has lost some hydraulic pressure. But I changed both and now the hood gets lifted up like a new car. Happy with the purchase.

Open trunk lid and use flat screwdriver to
Pry the top end loose by inserting the flat
Tip between the upper hinge, since the ball

Complete one side swapping out before
Starting the other side, to keep the lid from falling. It is heavy and could cause
Accident.Bottom fastens much like top
End did , just align opening over ball and be sure to make the ball at each end goes all the way in and hidden. Lower the lid
Slowly almost all the way to bottom latch,
After you are certain the keys are in your
Hand, try latching the lock. Now was that

These trunk lift supports fit my 2006 Hyundai Sonata perfectly. I bought another item that claimed to fit my car, but was just slightly too long. I returned those and purchased these. I just installed them in under 5 minutes and they fit and work perfectly.

Great hood struts for my 2011 Hyundai Sonata.
When the weather gets cold, and your vehicles hits a certain age, the struts that hold up your hood may fail and allow the hood to fall and possibly hurt yourself or someone else.
These hood struts work great and are easy to install.

They work good. One complaint. One strut was missing one locking ring. The old one seemed to fit the new strut. We will see.
