My slide out was very weak and needed help pulling it in, it was not ready for another trip. I decided to replace both motors at the same time at home since it was a pain in the ass. I lubed up the slide, synced it and now it’s smooth and quiet. Better than it was when I bought it slightly used 6 years ago.

Perfect fit and replacement for my Schwintek 300 to 1 slide out motor. The unit fit the space with the included rubber cover on. I like that cover and I think it will really help keep the unit dry from humidity and potential rain invasion which really shouldn’t happen. The wire connector to the cable is plug and play. The 4 pins that keep it from rotating fit the mount exactly. Sounds good in use, synched easily with the second motor and there is nothing not to like. I’m going to buy another one to carry with me on trips. The original Lippert motor that this replaced didn’t last 6 months of use, so I see no reason to pay the extra for Lippert.

The two motors arrived ahead of schedule. Packed individually in one box. Installed and work as expected. Saves a lot of $$$ over RV sites prices.
I did the removal and installation myself. I found it to be a pains taking job. It was a difficult area and very tight working space. Had to remove some of the inside trim around the slideout to gain access. Be sure to remove the screw at the top on the outside.

***Update 1 Year Later.
This motor is still going strong one year later. I now have another original motor on the other slide is doing the same thing, the controller going out, and since this replacement motor has worked great, I ordered another to fix the current motor issue. In fact, I ordered two more motors so I have one in reserve. Cant beat the price! We will see how they hold out over time, but no complaints so far.
***Original Review
It is identical in dimensions to the original motor. After installation, works perfectly! Will it last? Time will tell and I will update this review if any issues are encountered. Very pleased so far!.
Here are a few tips that might help you out…
1. Watch youtube videos on how to replace.
2. Make sure you need the 300:1 and not the 500:1 motor. Check the original and it will have a black cap if 300:1 and a clear cap if 500:1.
3. Easiest if you can access both side of the slide to remove the exterior screw, then access from the inside. I had to use a screwdriver from the outside to get it to pop up.
4. Make note of original’s orientation (which side the wires are on and how the D shaft is positioned.). Unhook the opposite side’s cable from the controller temporarily. Then connect the new motor to the controller but dont install in the wall yet. Have someone run the slide switch until the D shaft is in the correct position.
5.When trying to get new motor to seat down, you can move the slide in/out slightly to get things lined up and it should drop in place.
Good luck, hope this helps!.

Loved the price. Hopefully they work for a while but a three year warranty puts my mind at ease. It was tricky to reprogram but we managed to get them installed in only a couple of hours.
Highly recommend.

The motors work. However, they are reverse polarity. Retract will extend the slide. This would have been less of an issue, if I a physical switch. My slideout is controlled through BM Pro, a computerized control center. I made a note and posted it on the control panel. Good luck!
