BRAKTRCR –
I’m not returning the gauges, but they are not good quality. They look nice, and I have installed them on my 70 year old tractor. A few problems. They are a couple millimeters too big. The holes on the panel to install them had to be ground down, since the gauges would not slide in. The oil pressure gauge the light does not work, and when installing the bracket, the stud pulled out from the gauge and it was just barely more than finger tight. The Volt meter fit pretty well, and the light works, but it registers right about 11 volts, and my meter shows it at the proper 12.8 volts when running. The temp gauge would not seat all the way to the panel, and the probe that goes into the engine block had to be over tightened to stop the leaking. Wayyyy over tightened. I feel the temp gauge is giving an accurate reading, as it aligns with the previous gauge. The oil pressure gauge seems to be reading high, since I doubt my 70 year old engine idles at almost 50 psi. That coupled with the low voltage reading on the volt meter, and the broken mounting stud on the Oil Pressure gauge makes me regret buying these gauges.
Again, I’m not going to return the gauge package, I just wish I had gotten better product.
