The media could not be loaded.
I was skeptical of the off brand chinesium, but for $100 less than the edelbrock name brand and the good reviews, I gave it a shot. Showed up and looked great… until I started inspecting it. Both sides, the ports aren’t square and are offset making matching intake gaskets a nightmare. The recommended 7201 gaskets aren’t even close.
Test fit it, and it had quite a bit of side play and didn’t sit down onto the cylinder head face. I could install it anyway and see if the intake gaskets takes up the slack…. But I don’t feel like putting the top end back together for a “maybe”. Especially since the only reason I’m changing the intake is due to chasing a vacuum leak. My 20 year old edelbrock 2101 had zero movement. Guess I’ll go name brand and give that a shot instead.

Offset runners on one side but within gasket & head opening. Easy port matching. Otherwise great item.
