The closure tops for the nozzles do not screw on the nozzle, so now I have three pieces of plastic that’s not any good to me.

Replaced all 15 gas cans with these. Simple! No matter the can, each container should retrofit 3 cans. I’ll never go back to one of those other styles, and you know which ones I mean!
