Loose contacts! Contact surface is roughly cut and should be smooth when it makes contact with E-CVVT Motor copper contacts.
This manufacturer shouldn’t have cut corners. This part is too important for “whatever” assembly of the cover. I had to buy from dealer… $125 bucks (2day express shipping (comes with the price)). TIP TO THOSE REPLACING THE COVER.. YOU MUST RESET E-CVVT VALUES BEFORE ENGINE START AND THE PHASER MUST BE ROTATED TO A SPECIFIC POSITION BEFORE PLACING COVER BACK ON. refer to DIY ALL DATA! ITS NECESSARY!
