I didn’t pay attention to the actual size of this charger when I ordered it. It’s big and tall. When I plugged it into my car, the unit blocks the passenger side temperature control knob. Thankfully, they built this unit so that the housing that sits on top of the stem can pivot and be flipped to one side or the other. This enables access to the passenger temp control. But it’s clunky. The only thing going for this is it’s retractable cords. That is a very nice feature. That said, the cords themselves are not long, so I couldn’t plug in my phone while it sat in the car mount. I’m going to continue to give this a try, but I expect I won’t be able to tolerate these short comings.

Be aware this will not super fast charge android devices, which i didn’t know before buying. It does fast charge though which is plenty for my phone if I’m streaming music or videos. My phone is normally charged when I leave my house so I use car chargers to maintain the battery level while driving so my phone isn’t dead when I’m not in my truck. I didn’t think i would like the retractable cords but now that i have used them I think they are great. It is a cleaner look than the cords strung out everywhere. It also has slots to add more cables if needed which is great if my wife and son are with me. I also like the voltage readout but I think it may not be calibrated correctly. Before I start my truck it is reading 12.3 volts which indicated a rather discharged battery. If I put my voltage meter on my battery at the same time it reads 12.67volts which I tend believe since the battery is brand new and the volt meter is a trusted brand. When my truck is running the charger shows 14.3 which i believe is probably pretty accurate, though I have not checked it with truck running from the outside yet.

I really like this car charger. It has a type C and an Iphone lightening cable that retracts back into the charger itself. I love this feature and it keeps the cords tidy in my small car. It also has a USB and Type C port so you can theoretically charge 4 devices at once. The housing is a little bulky but that is to be expected since it holds the cords inside when they aren’t being used. Really happy with this charger.

LOVE IT! The retractable cords are the best, I was quite tired of seeing cords being left on the vehicle floors to be stepped on and exposed to water and dirt from shoes. And it’s perfect that there’s a cord for both Android and Apple (we have both), plus the added ports to be used as needed (and I’m sure they will be needed lol, I have already tucked longer charging cords that can comfortably reach the backseat into my glovebox).
And it certainly charges faster than my old charger, that’s a treat! It does seem a tad slower if two phones are connected at once but nothing bothersome.
A side note, if you have a car with a cigarette lighter tucked in beside the ashtray tight check the measurements. This fits great in our Chevy truck and Jeep but not in my beautiful older Buick, it’s too tight for it :(.

Its a bit bulky, but it does charge. I would say it charges faster in an older car then a newer one. It works both the inport and outport. When i would plug it in my car the voltage was a constant 13.9-14. its flexible in terms of the ability of moving it around without the charging cord being affected
