One thing to know, this only fits the dash with the smaller screen, not the large one (14″). I used a vibrating cutter to trim it down to fit and it actually worked pretty well. The instructions are typical awful, but fortunately you can figure things out yourself. There is an opening between the top left and top right, but I think it would be better if the opening was at the bottom. Because this unit sort of hangs onto the dash with double-sided tape, having more contact at the top vs. the bottom makes more sense. It’s well molded (and designed) and fits very well. It has a barb that clicks in where the dash meets the bezel for the gauges, which gives it extra stability. There’s no way to route the cord through the unit itself, so you can rotate the charging disc to a point where the cord can be looped up and behind the screen, and then down to the charging port. The supplied cord is not long enough to do this, and so I used my own instead. Also, the cord is USB to USB-C, and most vehicles are dispensing with the standard USB port in favor of the USB-C. Another advantage of this unit is that it allows the phone to rest horizontally, rather than vertically. So, I’m using a remote wireless camera mounted in the front and an app that shows the camera view on my phone. This way I can use the camera to view right in front of the vehicle when I’m rock crawling in 4WD.

I ordered to obviously hold my phone in place while driving next to the 14 inch Toyota screen. This product has a decent bracket that sits around the starter button. It has several large patches of adhesive, but I added more to ensure that it sits in place. It does not move much when pressure is applied and holds my phone in place without making noise. I like that the MagSafe charger is included and has a charging cable that will reach the other side of the screen while hiding out of sight. It works as intended.

This mount is pretty solid. It fits perfectly and takes just seconds to mount. I like that the mount places the phone right there and makes it easy to see without looking away from the road. The longest part of the install was just figuring out how I wanted to route the charging cable so that it’s not just draping over stuff. I was able to tuck most of it away with just a little bit of the cable exposed, but I may go back and adjust it some more another time. I love the look of the mount. It is solid and the magnetic hold on the phone is excellent. Best of all, since it’s a MagSafe charging mount, my phone stays charged up while driving.
Overall, super pleased with this setup. Really cool MagSafe car mount that’s custom just for this truck. Recommend.

I was really excited to find so many accessories that are fit for my new company truck and one of the first things I needed was a phone mount – I went with this one since it had Mag-Safe charging and was made to fit the Tacoma like it was factory.
When I unpacked the product, the magnet/charging surface had separated from the bottom “tray” and had to be popped back in (I saw exposed copper coils and wiring). The install itself was super easy – the hardest part was peeling the layer off the double sided tape on the bottom portion. Once installed, it looks 100% OEM and I was even able to tuck the charging cable into the channel/line under the radio so the cord is not just hanging down.
Functionality is where this product falls off unfortunately… I tested this with an iPhone 14 Pro Max with a MagSafe case with a decent magnet and when I went over a slightly bumpy road, the phone fell right off and landed by the brake pedal which was an immediate hazard. I then tried installing the magnet/ring that was included onto an iPhone SE and that held even worse; the slightest bump would cause the phone to fall. In addition, you have to position the phone just so in order for it to charge. My company uses the movement of the phone to determine driving habits and using this mount with no other changes in driving habits caused my score to drop by 30 points…
Overall, this product looks awesome, but I cannot recommend it from a function standpoint.

I don’t care for the mount going over the start button but you are limited on places where a phone could mount. I think this is an interesting solution though. I worry that the tape might not last in our hot humid summers.

4/5 stars, the only problem I have with it is the plastic that holds up the wireless charger is a little thin and flimsy. So if you’re on a rough road your phone is bouncing a lot. But aside from that this is awesome, magnet is very strong and it looks insanely OEM it looks like a Toyota accessory. Very impressed
