Product seems ok i guess. When I ordered it, Amazon originally showed it was a leather conditioner not a shoe polish. Should be more accurate. That being said, i did try snd apply this to my black leather boots, and my god. Does it ever scuff and come off fast and mark everything. It does come with a variety of application tools, which is very nice. But honestly, im throwing it in the garbage, as I cant have boots that scuff and leave black on anything the come in touch with

I ordered this restoration balm to restore a wear area on my old leather couch but found that the dark brown pigment was too light of a tone for color matching. I love this product for it’s smooth application blending capability with minimal residue that blends in nicely to result in a vibrant finish. It is effortless to spread and dries with a satin texture that can then be buffed up with leather conditioners to blend into the repaired area. Since they offer other black and beige pigments, I was able to mix a bit of each to revived my leather sofa to a perfectly color matched blended restoration ! For the price of each container it was perfect value for the restoration project.

This leather recoloring balm did wonders for my faded sofa. The rich black color matched nicely and applied smoothly with the provided applicator. I was delighted with how beautifully it filled in scratches and left a natural-looking finish. The recipe dries swiftly and without breaking, and its compact size allows me to touch up other leather things as well. My 10-year-old couch now looks brand new !

The coloring leather balm comes with an application sponge and other accessories (a brush, putty knife, etc.) which I didn’t use. The application sponge is somewhat fragile and tears easily, not that that is a big deal. I kinda figured it would be a one-time use and then I would use a clean cotton rag or something else. I do recommend wearing latex (or equivalent) examination gloves (just relax — this won’t hurt a bit).
The balm does a very nice job covering wear spots and restoring a new appearance. If your leather is severely damaged, you may need to do more with this product. I applied it to minimally worn car leather in a 10 year old car and feel it will halt more severe damage. All-in-all, an excellent product to restore your worn leather.
Please see pics.
EDIT: I recommend keeping a damp cloth nearby to wipe off excess balm, if necessary. Also, the balm will fill holes in perforated leather, so go lightly or be prepared to use more or cover a greater area so you don’t see irregular coloring of your seats. This would apply to any similar product and in not a criticism of this balm.

I ordered this to try out on my husband’s 15-year-old black leather lambskin jacket. He wears it every winter, but it’s faded and has worn spots. I’ve been searching for a product to restore it for a couple of years but haven’t found anything I thought might work. I ran across this product on Amazon and thought it was worth a shot. Since this jacket is basically ruined and I wasn’t worried about making it worse, it was a great test subject for this product.
I’m thoroughly impressed! It goes on smoothly and evenly, and the leather looks great! It is a gel-like consistency. In fact, it kind of reminds me of poster paints from when I was a kid. The kit comes with instructions, a sponge, 2 application pads, a putty spatula, and a paint brush. The instructions only say to use the application pads, but it’s easy enough to figure out how to use the other tools. They also recommend to wear gloves during use, but I didn’t. I got a little bit of the product on my fingers, but it washed off easily. It was so easy to wash that I worried it might wash off the leather, too, but once it dried overnight, I couldn’t wipe any color off with a wet rag. I’m working on his jacket a section at a time, and there should be plenty of product to complete the project.
This product isn’t for repairing torn leather. You’d need some sort of bonding agent for that, so don’t expect a miracle. You can see from my pics that it does make the worn spots less noticeable, though.
The first two pics of the jacket are its worn appearance before. The next to the last pic is after the test patch application. The very last photo shows a worn section treated with the product, an untreated section under the collar that was not worn and in near original condition, and a damaged section that had not received any treatment yet. I’m editing to add one more picture that’s a side-by-side comparison of the same area of the jacket before and after treatment with this product.
I plan to find some sort of leather conditioner and waterproofing treatment to use on top of this color restorer.

Awesome. When I saw just a few reviews all 5 star I thought they might be hype BUT having purchased their beige leather restorer and used on my old leather sofa and having it look like new after just one coat I’m impressed – and I’m not easily impressed :). Treatment is thick and creamy as other reviewers noted, I used the brush to work into the deep crevices then the sponge for the rest. Also water clean up afterwards is easy. Product is o good I’ve also ordered a black version to restore my lambskin jacket, If I had any criticism it is the sponge doesn’t hold up very well mine fell apart but otherwise I’d say great and well worth the money.

I got this leather dye balm with the intention of revitalizing the black leather seats and center console in my older vehicle, and I must say that it delivered on its promise. The application of the balm was uniform, and after rubbing it out, the finish appeared to be smooth and revitalized; unlike the appearance of some other products, which are glossy or artificial.
It performed an excellent job of fixing up minor flaws and fading places, and the color fit in wonderfully with the leather that was originally used. The fact that it did not have a strong chemical odor is something that I really like!

Before using this filler, watch some youtube tutorials on how to properly apply and work the material onto leather surfaces. My first attempt did not go so well as I did not know how to use it properly. After watching some tutorials, the filler actually does look good and natural. It seems durable enough to where it wouldn’t re-peel or crack any time soon.
