I got this battery disconnect switch and it’s been super nicefor cuting off my electrical system on the boat. It works with 12 volt setups and handles up to 200 amps continuous or 1000 amps intermittent so it’s perfect for my boat. The aluminum alloy construction feels really solid and it’s held up against vibration and even water exposure. The installation was quick and easy since it’s got pre-drilled holes and the universal compatibility made it pretty straightforward. I like how it completely isolates the battery when I need to store it which helps prevent parasitick drains and keeps everything safe. The clear on and off markings are useful and the click when you turn it gives you confidence that it’s working right. I’d recommend it for anyone needing a easy way to make sure they are turning off their batteries.

A solid battery disconnect switch. This kit came with the needed bracket for installation making it a breeze. I mounted it about a foot from the battery on the fender well and the bracket actually lined up to existing holes perfectly for me. The switch feels well made with a solid click when turning it on and off, and little to no play in the shaft. The housing appears to be well made and the switch works as it should, with a nice short throw as well. The included rubber boots make for a safe and clean install.

Good design and easy to install, seems to be good quality. Put it in my older S10 V8 conversion and so far I’m very happy with it. Functions well and no issues so far, will update if that changes.

The switch on this unit seems a like it has a little extra play in it when I switch it from on to off, as though the internal spring and contacts are maybe not assembled to very tight tolerances. Other than that, it definitely functions as a switch and it looks better than most of the battery terminal mounted models. Installation is easy with he included bracket and you can locate it anywhere. The set includes crimp on terminals for attaching battery wires.

I haven’t had time to install this yet, but it appears to be identical to the module disconnect switches in the ambulances at work. I plan to use this as a battery disconnect for my small Yanmar diesel tractor because it has a slow battery drain that I have yet to identify. The switch engages as disengages securely and it is quite hefty.
