Bought for a fundraiser car wash. Two of them ripped during the event, one beyond use. Wish they were a bit more durable, but we paid for a more natural, large size item. ::Shrug::
Richard Lowry “Richiekid” –
Perhaps you are like me and prefer a clean shower. As we know, mold is always an issue. Well, since using this sponge, it has shown no signs of mold. I’ve used many bath sponges, but they always lead to mold, so I started looking into car sponges. Well, it led me to these, which are perfect for the shower. They are nice and soft and definitely a good size as well. They soak up a lot of water, and as for the mold, most car sponges never really mold, even when you put them in the trunk wet. I’ve used these for about a month now and haven’t had any mold or bad smells. The size of them, being for cars, is a good size (about 8 inches), so I cut them to about 6 inches, which is a perfect hand size. I use the cut piece for other cleaning tasks—bingo, two for one! I give this product an A++ for softness (which is excellent in the shower; nothing gets scratched), absorbency (it gets up all the excess water), durability (they’re made for cars, so you know they’ll hold up), and the rope for hanging them. Mold is never an issue when something gets completely dry, so if you need a good shower or even house cleaning sponge, this larger size is just what you need.

I purchased these sponges in lieu of water balloons for my kids this summer. We fill a big tote with water and soak the sponges, then let the kids have at it. They love to slap each other with a soaking wet sponge – can you tell I only have sons?

Lots of fun on a HOT, sunny day, for a graduation party! Good value and water retention! They were a great size and were lightweight, so the hurled sponges caused no harm to our young ones. They saved the day!

We bought these for 55 kids to use during camp water games. They were a great price and held up well.

We ordered these for an end of school splash party, and they were a big hit! We ended up cutting them in half to make more sponges for all the kids. The sponges are not high quality, but they were exactly what we needed. They soaked up enough water to thoroughly soak everyone-including adults-and were so soft no one got hurt. This set will probably be toast by the end of the summer, but we’ll definitely order them again for next year!
