This tape initially went on really well. I prepped and cleaned the area real well. The tape adhesion was really good and I was quite impressed. But after a month it is starting to fail. Losing it’s adhesion. I need to find a replacement

This stuff is junk !!!!
Applied it to the rear underside wheel well of travel trailer (after having a blowout).
Doesn’t hold up, prepped and cleaned surface before applying (twice).
Applied it slowly and didn’t not tear off backing in large sections, so not to cause it to kink or buckle up while applying. Area was completely dry before apply it.
It looked great and had high hopes that it would work well.
After about a day, the area it was used on came undone. Trailer wasn’t moved and it was not affected by any moisture or water to cause it to come off.
Thought of giving it a second try, after removed the area it was first put on, the same thing happed a second time.
Took the entire thing apart again cleaned area and decided to take the extra time and use actual underlayment tarp material purpose made for, staple in place
Waste of money and time using this stuff
Dent’s work as well as the say and even highlight that it can be used for the purpose I needed it for !!!

I have a trailer with a wooden deck that I wanted to extend the life as long as possible as even treated wood will rot after a while. I used this all across the bottom of this and it worked well. The tape stuck to the wood and only had a few spots where it wouldn’t stick so I used a hand stapler to give it a little help. This tape is waterproof so now that the bottom deck is covered up the wood should last longer especially in the winter when it snows and there is a lot of salt being dumped on the roads. This was easy to cut and very pliable.
