I had this on my LIPO4 camper battery and it immediately recognized that it was a 12v battery. Using the only butyon on the device I clicked it from Lead to LIPO4, and it started the charging process. My battery was at 2.9 v, so not fully charged, and the flashing battery meter indicated that it was at 75% charge. I will check in a few hours to see if the indicator goes to 100%. The label on this device says that it consumes “60w without load”, but I measured it while it was plugged in but not connected to a battery and it was only drawing .9 watt (Less than a watt). I like that the power cord is hadwired in, and the plug to the clamps (or eyelet pigtail) are very snug; it gives the assurance that the connections arent going to come loose when youre not watching! Super easy to usr. Also has the battery repair option which I havenx̌t needed yet.
