These are really good car scrubbing pads and they for sure reduce the amount of time I spend scrubbing on my car, but if you’re too rough with them they’ll scratch your car. I learned the hard way, but other than that they do a great job.

This is a nice-looking polisher. It’s strongly built but much lighter and smaller than the old AC powered polishers. (In my kitchen I measured it (w/battery) at 18″ long, and 9″ across at the handle. It weighs 6 pounds).
This polisher uses hi-tech rechargeable batteries, for a power source instead of wall current. You don’t have to deal with tripping over or tangling up with long extension cords.
The polishing heads on this machine at 5″ and 6″ in diameter. It is an orbital sander which means the entire head oscillates in a random round pattern as the disk rotates in circles. The orbital action extends the area being covered by the polisher.
Random orbital sanders don’t create the steady circular swirls in the polish like straight orbital polishers. But it can leave corkswirls in the finish instead. You can control this to some extent by overlapping your strokes and trying to keep moving and not stop in one place. Randon orbitals are a little more difficult to get used to in tight spaces, near edges and along straight lines. But again, this is a learning curve thing that will become second nature.
This smaller polisher uses thick foam applicators for the polish or compound that are capable of conforming to curves and bends in the surface. And the foam is provided in 3 densities or hardness’s so you can change the pressure on the car surface as needed.
So, I like what this smaller polisher is offering, especially the rechargeable batteries. It’s lighter in my hands and smaller. The two batteries should provide plenty of power for a single car. And I don’t have to be located near an AC outlet. For multiple cars, I would probably need a couple more replacement batteries.
By the way this is also a great system for your fiberglass boat. And the smaller lighter design will be a real advantage on the more vertical sides of a boat. And again, no AC power is needed.
So, I’m pretty happy with this polisher. It’s well-built, powerful and is much easier to use without the power cord. I think the random orbital action and foam application pads can do a great job. Price wise, the kit I received is competitive with well-known AC powered polishers. However, like drills, once you get used to using a cordless tool it’s hard to go back to extension cords. If you’re looking for a car polisher for home use, this is one to consider.

A few thoughts after having a chance to use this polisher:
*I was concerned about buying an off brand device…for the obvious quality reasons. But also if I ever need to add an additional battery….will I be able to get it?! No guarantees, for sure.
*This isn’t priced, at least at the time of purchase, like it’s an off brand….it’s a little on the high side. As far as the specs, performance and the dual batteries, I get why they priced it the way they did.
Ultimately, since this polisher works really well, I am able to get past the fact that it’s an unknown brand. Also, by the time these batteries die on me, I may be ready for a different model or brand anyway so I am not going to sweat it. Plus, I really like that they included a second battery so that is plus for me. All in all, pretty happy with this purchase.

Outstanding buffer used it for about an hour and a half so far came packaged didn’t well more than it needed to be. It was incredibly overpacked after about 2 1/2 hours. The first battery is still at half power. I would recommend this to anybody.
