It distorts the quality of the screen. I took it off right away and returned it

This is a premium quality screen protector – it is matte finish (so know what you are getting – it dulls out the screen a little bit but provides a reduction in glare). It is easy to install, the instructions are helpful, with a nice how to video (although the QR included in the box had a broken domain name, a quick web search found the TWRAPS site with the correct install video). Although the screen is less sharp, I like the fact that it reduces the fingerprints and smudges – so the net effect is actually a more premium looking screen since it’s not always smudged.

I love this screen protector because not only does it reduce glare tremendously, it also does a great job mitigating fingerprints, and provides an overall nice even look to the screen in a Tesla Model S. This kit comes with the installation basics, a microfiber, alignment stickers, a wet wipe, and a squeegee, but it’s really all you need over fancy alignment brackets, and the quality of the screen itself from TWRAPS is excellent. I went with the matte finish and at first glance, you may be thinking that it will make your screen foggy or harder to see, but once the screen is applied, it’s just as sharp and easy to see as it ever was. I’ve never installed a screen protector in the Model S before, but I took a video to show that it’s a fairly simple process. The screen mostly applied itself after it was aligned, but after the video I did press out the edges a bit with the squeegee to clean it up and it was not too difficult to get a nice looking end result.
I love this protector not only for the protection, but also the added purpose of keeping that glare down on sunny days, and keeping fingerprints managed. If you are looking to do the same in your Model S (or X), this is a great kit that delivers.

This is a very well-made protector, and have a very nice high-quality feel, partly due to it being made out of glass, and party due to the nice feel of the matte screen.
The matte screen reduces resolution and contrast a tiny bit, and in exchange for that it reduces glare. Actually, it changes glare, to be more accurate. Basically rather than have a mirror surface that, if the sun is at the wrong angle, will cause a terrible glare that makes it impossible to read the screen, a matte screen will essentially average out that glare over a large set of angles, which means that you have a tiny bit of glare almost all the time, but it’s never bad. So, just be aware of that; it actually will look worse than the original screen most of the time, but never by much, but it sometimes looks WAY better than the original screen. That’s the deal.

We just got a new Tesla Model X and wanted to get a screen protector mostly for the rear screen as I figured out that it was likely to get kicked by kids’ feet when they ride in the back seat. I couldn’t find a product that was just for the rear screen, so I tried this set from Twraps.
I installed the rear screen – it was easy following the instructions in the video (they supply a QR code link to the video). The screen looked great and I felt it was now well protected. In fact, I loved it so much that I decided to install the protector for the main screen, seeing as how I had it anyway.
The first thing I discovered in the installation, and my strong recommendation, is to use a flashlight to really check the screen. I thought the screen didn’t look too bad (with respect to fingerprints, etc.) until I put the screen into “Screen Clean” mode so it went black and then shone. Flashlight on it – I was appalled at the number of fingerprints on the screen.
The next thing I discovered was a tiny manufacturing defect in the protector (basically looked like a very small scratch). It really wasn’t that noticeable, and I doubt I would have seen it except for the flashlight illumination, but in any case, I decided to contact the manufacturer to see if I could get a replacement.
I was very happy to find this was a US-based small family-owned company. They answered my email within a few minutes, even though it was a holiday weekend, and arranged to have a new protector shipped out right away. Apart from the fact that I very much like supporting small US businesses just on principle, when they provide outstanding customer service like Twraps does, it makes that decision even more rewarding.
The new protector arrived quickly, and installation went well (again after watching the video). The protector they replaced my original one with was the upgraded tempered glass version (at no additional cost to me). The anti-glare properties are really great and very obvious – you can clearly see the difference in the two pictures taken in the same conditions – the before and after show an amazing difference in screen glare.
Overall, I am very happy with the screen protector from Twraps. The product gets a solid 5 stars and if I could I would give them 5 more for outstanding customer support. If you need a screen protector for any of the vehicles they support, you will not be disappointed. You will also know that you are supporting a small, family-owned USA business, so it’s a win-win.

I got the TWRAPS 17in Screen Protector for my ’22 Model S. The kit comes with all the tools needed for install and it was fairly simple process. Though with a screen that large, it’s challenging to eliminate 100% of the bubbles/wrinkles – eventually I got them worked out. I’m not sure I’m going to keep it installed, though, as I don’t like the way the matte finish ‘dulls’ the screen and makes it look less sharp, in my opinion. It is advertised as a matte finish, so I can’t ding the product for performing as advertised…

Easy to install, matte finish looks good and feels nice to touch. Recommeded

This screen protector was very easy to install. It came with all the necessary items to clean the screen and apply the screen protector. Unfortunately, the QR code that came with the screen protector led to a link that did not open. I googled the instructions to be sure I wasn’t missing any steps and having installed a few of these, it was the standard way. The tool used to move bubbles out of the screen is such an awesome tool which makes this install so satisfying. Quality of the screen protector feels really good as well.
