Functioned but did not fit in the original location. Also, plug wire connectors did not match coil. Had to order another set of matching plug wires with proper connections.

I bought this as a conversion for a VERY ANTIQUE ONAN welder engine ; CCK cast iron magneto ignition engine .converted toggle for batery power , used coil and condenser from kit, clean reset points , and was running well , welding well . engine runs excellent.
snipped mag wires . will remove later . for time being , i have a GREAT running welder , inexpensive due to fact no one knew how TOO convert .

I bought this to get a 1984 welder running that has an Onan engine. Once I replaced the coil and a few other electrical parts, the old engine started right up. It now starts every time and runs very well.

For anyone with a John Deere 318 more specifically an Onan B43G, the condenser received with this coil is incorrect. It failed after two-months of light use.
