My radio uses a standard 5 amp fuse which will blow if the radio is accidentally turned to full volume. The circuit breaker has a slower response that gives me the chance to lower the volume before a standard fuse.

These are a great convenience on my Kubota T1400H lawn tractor. The 5A fuses were easy to blow doing routine maintenance. These are much taller than a std fuse but its easier to bodge a fuse holder cover than drive out to buy more fuses for the nth time.

I have an electric RV jack that pops fuse every time the jack bottoms out. Great solution. The fuse is taller than regular fuse so it doesn’t fit in sealed fuse holder, but way better than constantly replacing a fuse.
