no issues at all, fit like OEM and comparing it to the original there were no differences. After almost one week the car is no longer leaking from that area.

Took a few hours to do the work (intermediate level job), but the gasket kit was a great match and fixed my bad oil leak! new life into 20+ year old van! The hardest part was cleaning the old gunk off, which I recommend doing before unbolting the old part. I wish that I had used more Gunk and a brush to get it sparkling clean BEFORE unbolting the housing. I also bought/used an o-ring removal tool set. A sharpened chopstick might have worked?

Great replacement for spool valve. 2014 odyssey. These are thicker than OEM so need to torque it more for a tight seal. 9.5-10 ft lbs is perfect for it. Slowly torque it. Easy to install. It works as it should. The mesh is fine no need to swap the mesh.

It feels low quality compared to OEM, hopefully it last long enough.
I’m holding in my hand the OEM one, the OEM fits very tightly in the groove and it’s kind of flat shape with some metallic insert, whereas, this one leaves some gap around and it’s a lot more flexible.
Time will tell, I will update this review if it fails prematurely.

Great quality and very easy to replace. Simply remove three bolts, lift up the vcm carefully and replace both gaskets. Make sure you torque it evenly to make sure that it won’t leak. Overall, it would have cost a lot at the dealer since they will replace the VCM as well.

Fixed oil leak, but after about 100 miles now get CEL with P3497 on 2008 Honda Odyssey. 3 cylinders shut down. Apparently the screen cause the VVT not to get enough oil and it shuts half the cylinders. Don’t buy.

Long overdue. My car has 225,000 miles on it and this was never replaced. The old gasket was hard and brittle and broke apart when removed. It was leaking pretty badly getting oil on the belt and making it squeal. This was a good replacement and fit perfectly. No more oil spots on my garage floor on the passenger side. I was skeptical because this is not an original Honda part, but I am happy and this worked just fine
